Saksham Narang began his career at an investment bank in Boston/Cambridge that provided sophisticated mergers & acquisition guidance and strategic consulting services exclusively to the medical technology and healthcare sectors. He went on to help transition the bank into a first-time venture firm that successfully raised $50M in Fund I. During his time, Saksham helped at all levels of fund management including fundraising, deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, and reporting. After departing Boston/Cambridge to pursue entrepreneurial efforts, Saksham joined the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) as a Venture Advisor in 2018.
At UAB, he assisted faculty and staff in evaluating the commercial potential of their early-stage research. Saksham is now the Vice President of Yuva Biosciences. He also sits on the Board of BIO Alabama, the leading advocacy organization for Alabama’s bioscience community. Saksham received his Bachelor of Science from Boston University in 2015.
